After announcements we will head down to the library for this presentation.

• Took part in the Civil Rights movement in the South of the USA during the 1950's.
• Martin Luther King Jr. Day is next Monday so that is why we are seeing her today.

Planner reminder: Study flash cards / Write THREE words for each root

example:  Port =   Transportation, airport, port-a-potty

For the test: You have to know the meaning of each word and be ready to write sentences using example words.
*** HEY - many people never turned in the Test Review handout - got zeros! Turn it in for late credit!!

Plan for today: 

1. Greek root word activity

2. Finish Greek story (at least one page in length) - must have a beginning / middle / end

3. Start homework
